Other Ways to Give
Online giving has been a huge blessing to us, but we are deeply grateful for your donations in any form:
automated through your own bank’s online banking
placed in the offering plate during worship
mailed via the US Postal Service (21 Robert Treat Pkwy, Milford, CT 06460)
through estate planning/planned giving (see below)
by activating Thrivent’s Generosity Programs (see below)
Thank you so much!
Planned Giving
An important avenue of financial support for churches comes through the planned giving of faithful members who choose to leave something to their church as a bequest from their estate. In fact, this avenue is often overlooked by churches and members, but can truly be life-giving in terms of the long-term sustainability of the congregation. Trinity welcomes and encourages such gift planning, and is grateful for every bequest, great and small. To that end, Trinity adopted a Gift Policy at its 2025 Annual Meeting to offer guidance to anyone who is thinking about including Trinity in their estate or gift planning. See below for the Gift Policy, a summary, and a related form:

Activating Thrivent’s Generosity
This is not so much a form of giving, but rather the pursuit of another avenue of generosity.
Thrivent Financial was born of a merger of two fraternal benefit societies, Aid Association for Lutherans (founded in 1902) and Lutheran Brotherhood (founded in 1917); they merged in 2002. Thrivent continues to be firmly rooted in the core Christian principles of service and generosity, and has been named one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” by Ethisphere every year since 2012.
Thrivent’s status as a fraternal benefit organization (rather than a for-profit insurance and investing firm) enables Thrivent to offer millions of dollars via its Generosity Programs, in support of ministries of the church, through its members.
And here’s good news: any Christian can become a member! (Please note that if you own a Thrivent life, health, or annuity product, you are already a member.) Thrivent Associate Membership is available for $19.95 per year. This Associate Membership comes with two annual opportunities to activate Thrivent’s generosity in support of ministry:
Directing $25 in “Thrivent Choice Dollars” to support the work of any nonprofit registered with Thrivent (including Trinity).
Leading a “Thrivent Action Team” for the purpose of some particular ministry, project, or event. Each Action Team receives Action Kit, which includes a $250 VISA gift card to support the named purpose of the ministry/project/event.
SO, if you feel moved to embrace this avenue of generosity offered by Thrivent, the first step is to apply to become an Associate Member (they’ll ask for name, address, phone, email, and date of birth, and to state that you are a Christian). To join Thrivent, click this big “Thrivent Associate Membership” button, and then scroll down and click the dark blue “Apply to Join” button.
(Please note that it may take around 3 weeks before you receive your membership letter in the mail.) When your membership confirmation arrives, let Pastor Chris or a member of Council know so that we can add you to our list of Thrivent members, so that we can do our best to match members with upcoming opportunities for generosity.
